Ishavskatedralen

The 'Cathedral of the Arctic Sea' in Tromsø is really only a parish church, but judging from the crowds of tourists and the high admission price, it's more popular then the actual cathedral. Its bright white concrete structure and its position on low land near the bridge mean that it can be seen from all over the city, and it's very photogenic.

Last time we visited Tromso a funeral had been taking place in the church so we could only view the outside; this time we were able to go in and see the magnificent stained glass window for ourselves.
