Last time I checked in, I had nine of the 20 items, which wasn't great progress. I forgot to carry my list with me quite often last month, and regrettably forgot about the bunting which I've seen a few times and not photographed. Hopefully I'll see some more in the remaining two weeks of the hunt.
That's right; there's two weeks left. The winter hunt will end on 21 March, when spring officially starts.
My February finds:
3. Ornate door knocker
6 February - Greenwich (I found two in a row of Georgian houses)
4. Breakfast
My normal porridge with a drizzle of golden syrup. I was going to take a photo of the full English breakfast that I had on a friend's birthday, but I forgot until my plate was empty.
8. A fish
21 February - I found an assortment of fish while walking along the Thames Path.
At Surrey Docks Farm:
Outside the Brunel Museum:
And in the path itself:
12. Silhouette
21 February - City of London
So that's four more to add to my collection, leaving me with 8 out of 21 still to go in the next two weeks. It's not as bad as it sounds, as I know where to find a few of them so I just need to get on with taking the photos.
Eileen's hosting another link-up In Her Playroom, so why not check out how the other participants are faring.
I like the 'hand' door knocker and your silhouette of London is lovely.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with finding the rest before the hunt ends.
