Stick It Down - Our American Cousins

It's the fifth of the month, so time for the DT single pages to be unveiled over at Stick It Down. The diamonds on Purvi's sketch made me think of using my new hexagon stamp. I wanted to work on a subtle pattern, rather than plain cardstock, and picked a diagonal stripe from Dear Lizzy, which helped with lining up the stamping.

My photos are annual school pictures of my cousin's children; they live in the US which lead to my title. The bubble/circle paper is the branding strip from the Dear Lizzy paper, and it set the colour scheme for the layers behind the photos.

  1. I really like how you have interpreted this sketch. Without seeing your version I would have passed the sketch by but you have definitely made me think again. x
