I've tried to find a variety of pages for my Scraplift Challenges, and this month it's a double page! Don't let that put you off though, as it would be very simple to use just half the design for a single page if that's what you prefer to make.
This particular page is an old one, from a trip to Malaysia in 2009, and was originally inspired by one from Shimelle Laine that I saw in Issue 52 of Scrapbook Inspirations magazine; it's basically eight squares that I treated as individual mini-layouts, each showing a different aspect of the botanical park that we visited.
My Guest Designer this month is Kerry from Scrapbooking - For the Love of Paper, and she's taken the design in a totally different direction. Once she had the eight background squares in place, she says that she let her photos dictate the rest of the design.
Now it's your turn, take as much or as little as you like from my page, make a single or a double, it's up to you to come up with your version. Please link up by 10pm BST on 30 April (and remember that I'm looking for five entries to award this month's prize).
I've taken on the challenge myself as always, and I'll be back with my new double page from Salzburg on Friday.
Rules are in the post linked at the top of my sidebar. Paper pages only, link up by 10pm BST on 30 April.
I love this and have already selected my photos and papers to get started on it!
