I have three more photos to take for the Summertime Photo Scavenger Hunt, and although my daughter has offered to dance for me, I have been on the lookout for other people dancing all summer. I finally found some yesterday. We were in the Olympic Park, on our way to the velodrome, when we spotted this group of Gamesmakers:

Photo Scavenger Hunt 18
Ever since I saw Rinda's list for her Summertime Photo Scavenger Hunt, I have known that my photo of a pier would be the one in Southend-on-Sea. We finally visited today, and I duly got my photo:

Love You
I've followed Sarah's Cards Ltd on Facebook for a while now, but this is the first time I've joined in with their monthly sketch challenge. The August sketch uses a single landscape photo, so I pulled out an old one of my son and nephew. It's hard to believe that these cute babies are now 15 and 16 years old. Where does the time go?
I stuck pretty closely to the sketch this time and all the paper is from my scrap box. I even managed to use up a few old metal embellishments

Steam Trains
I haven't done much scrapping since I came back from my holiday last weekend, but the & Now For Something Completely Different class at UKScrappers is a must. This month's class was a page with four 4" x 4" photos, but when I was looking for a suitable quartet of pictures, I decided to adapt it. My photos are from 2003 and were taken on a day out on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. To be honest, I don't remember much about the day, so my journalling is just a few basic facts.

Photo Scavenger Hunt 16 & 17
We've just returned from a week in Cornwall with cameras full of photos, but two of those photos were taken for one specific reason, the Summertime Photo Scavenger Hunt set by Maria Ontiveros at Gallo Organico. I have four left now, and the bride is still causing problems.
On Monday I spotted a rope swing at Polzeath:
and on Tuesday these cricketers near Lanhydrock (people playing with a ball):

Photo Scavenger Hunt 15
Our local library closed last year so we are dependent on the mobile library which visits on Friday afternoons. A quick trip for holiday reading books gave me another photo for the Scavenger Hunt:

Kek Lok Si
As you might guess from the title, I'm back in the Far East for this page. We've just booked another cruise for next summer, which means I want to do last year's cruise scrapbook, which means that I really want to finish the book for our trip to Singapore and Malaysia in 2009.
The pictures are from a Buddhist temple, the Temple of Supreme Bliss, spread out over the hillside near Ayer Itam. The highlights were a 30m bronze statue of the goddess Kuan Yin and the seven storey Pagoda of 10,000 Buddhas, but the whole temple was intricately decorated with lots to see.
Supplies
Paper - Dovecraft Eastern Promise Paper Pack, Best of K&Company Too Stack plus scraps
Metal Coins/Tokens - bought at Kek Lok Si
Ink - Versa Color
Tools
Big Shot & Alphabet Dies
Woodware Scalloped Circle Punch
Unkown/Borrowed Stamp Set

Photo Scavenger Hunt 13 & 14
The school holidays are in full flow, and we had a day at Legoland Windsor today, getting two more pictures for the Scavenger Hunt. I have my son to thank for the first one; as we toured Miniworld he pointed out the lego model of the Angel of the North and said "Look Mum, you need an angel."
The second one was something I had spotted on the map on the Legoland website, Lori's Labyrinth for my maze, labyrinth or trail:

Photo Scavenger Hunt 12
I forgot all about the movie poster when I was in Leicester Square on Friday. However I had my camera handy when I saw this one on a bus today:

Photo Scavenger Hunt 9 - 11
Another day out in London today gave me a few more photos in the Scavenger Hunt. I've found 11 of 21 now, but I've done most of the easy ones.
