Tyne Trail

I'm sharing my latest page for Twilight Crafts and Jenny Wren Cut-Files, which makes use of the Anchors Border cut-file, either side of my title.

The whole Tyne Trail is 135 miles long, but I just walked the last section, from the Port of Tyne to Tynemouth, on the changeover day between two cruises last month. My husband ran from Wallsend to Tynemouth the same day, using the same path for this part.

I printed seven photos from my walk, and arranged them in a 3x3 grid with journalling in the first and last boxes, then split the grid with my title across it.

Tyne Bridges

I'm continuing with my 2018 album for now. We cruised from Newcastle-upon-Tyne that year and spent the morning before embarkation on the waterfront in the city, where the river is crossed by seven different bridges in less than a mile. I chose two photos for this page, one of most of the bridges and one of the newest, the Gateshead Millennium Bridge.

This page will sit opposite one from Durham (Perfect Reflection) where we stayed the night before so I copied the grey, blue and yellow colour scheme from that one, and even pulled in a few of the same papers.

Angel of the North

I'm back with another page from Stuck?! Sketches, using the second of their December sketches.

I'm still scrapping pages at random, and these photos are from April. We spent Easter in Northumberland and on our way home we visited the Angel of the North, Antony Gormley's statue outside Gateshead. 

I originally intended to keep pretty close to the sketch, but near the end I decided to flip the positions of the three photos while keeping the papers as they were.
