See the Spitfire Fly

Shimelle's second 'Sketch to Scrapbook Page' video last weekend featured two large photos in opposite corners of the page, but I decided to adopt her suggestion of scrapping four smaller photos.

I have a huge pile of photos from our visit to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford a few years ago, so I picked three of the Spitfire that was flying that day and added one of my daughter pointing at it.

I chose a clocks paper for the corner pieces as I thought that the clock dials could look like the dials on the aircraft instrument panel. I've gutted the spotty paper so that I can use it on other pages from the same day.

  1. Such a lovely take on the sketch! Great idea to frame out the photos against the background!
