Rebecca

This is my first layout for a Creative Craft World scrap map; I found the blog via their shop which was advertised on Facebook. I started from this sketch:

and ended up with this layout:

I substituted a chipboard swirl (coloured with ink and chalk) for the large circle, and felt that I needed a second piece in the opposite corner to balance it. I also wanted to use larger strips of paper to show the flower and butterfly patterns. This meant that my title had to move from the top to the left, where I surrounded it with a flock of butterflies, rather than the circles in the sketch.

Supplies
Paper - My Mind's Eye Bohemia, Laura Ashley Contemporary Paper Pack
Letters - Mustard Moon
Chipboard - Papermania
Ink - Papermania
Chalk - Readicut Crafts
