The Big 4-0

I have a page with a rare photo of my brother to share today. He normally shies away from the camera but couldn't do so on his fortieth birthday.

My page was inspired by the latest sketch at Sketch-n-Scrap, even if there's not much similarity between the two now. I was originally going to follow it more closely despite the change to a portrait photo, but once I chose my background paper I really didn't want to cover much of it up. I used a square of vellum in the centre to soften things around the photos, then layered strips of paper and washi tape over some of the printed strips on the paper.

Supplies
Paper - Crate Paper Craft Market, Crate Paper The Pier, Crate Paper Mia
Numbers - American Crafts
Letters - October Afternoon
Ticket - Fancy Pants
Enamel Dots - Doodlebug
Washi Tape - Unknown
Ink - Docrafts
