Continuing with my London 2012 album, I'm sharing a double page based on Shimelle Laine's May 4x6 Photo Love class from last year, though my photos are a tad smaller and proportioned 3x4.
We didn't manage to get any Olympic tickets, so we had to content ourselves with some of the free events, the women's marathon as documented earlier, and the men's triathlon. We found a good spot for the cycling phase in Hyde Park and cheered on Alistair Brownlee, Jonathan Brownlee and Stuart Hayes as they passed us seven times. Once the cycling was over, we moved to one of the big screens to watch the running and cheer some more.
There's a huge amount of writing on these pages, but I'm hoping that by writing directly onto the background it doesn't overwhelm the page. The four cycling photos are mine, but I've pinched the runners from triathlon.org.
