After making the last scrapbook page (Woodland Wander), I still had a 2" strip of butterfly paper left. This paper is at least six years old and it spent three and a half years in my scraps box between layouts. I was determined not to send it back there so decided to make a card with it.
I wanted to show as much of the paper as possible, so I just layered it on a plain paper and ran it down the centre of my card. Faux stitching, a contrasting circle and a sentiment finished off the card.
But this still didn't finish off the paper, I had a small piece left, a piece that would work with this month's card sketch from Stick It Down. I used the inner circle from the first card, a scrap of washi tape and a smaller sentiment, and had the second card done in no time.
