Believe it or not, this page started out from a Stick It Down sketch. I had three photos, two landscape and a smaller square, and I initially rotated the sketch to suit them. As I went on, I dropped the smaller photo, added in more paper layers and rotated the background back again while keeping the photos at 90° to the original. Hopefully you can still see the sketch in my finished page.I used old October Afternoon papers from several collections and fussy cut most of the embellishment pieces from a Witch Hazel paper. The frame on the photo highlights my daughter's Harry Potter pumpkin.

Awesome evolution of the sketch. Looks like one long photo and I like how you highlighted the pumpkin with a frame. Thanks for creating with us at SID!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing how people take our sketches and make them our own. I am the same way! Thanks for joining us Amanda! :)
ReplyDeleteSo I just posted a comment and my computer froze up so I hope this doesn't make a duplicate... I wanted to say I love how people take our sketches and make them their own. I am the same way and my finished project rarely looks like the sketch! Thanks for joining us Amanda! :)
