I'm still following along with the Birthday Bash at Sketch-n-Scrap. I had been doing the challenges roughly in order, but as soon as I saw Sunday's I knew exactly what I wanted to do. It was the turn of Kelly at Creating with Paper and More to set the challenge and she chose buttons.
I have a big bag of gorgeous purple buttons that I had been planning to use with three photos of my daughter as a baby. I don't scrap with purple very often and she was wearing a lilac outfit that day. Being three 4x6 landscape photos, I used an oft-repeated layout and stacked them in a column, next to rows of buttons and ribbon. I cut my title on my Big Shot and ran it down the opposite side of the photos.
This turned out to be another monochromatic layout so I am also linking it to Challenge #139 at Scrap Whispers which was to create a monochrome page (or to scrap a photo where we have enhanced the colouring).
