I've finished all my pages from Bergen and Eidfjord now (two ports done out of six) plus most of them from Stavanger. My next batch of photos is a bit of a mixture, but I do have all the ones that I want to scrap from Olden printed so that's the port that I will be concentrating on next.
I'm starting off with my 'sub-title' page; I'm making one of these for each port of call and they all follow the same design with a 6x8 photo of the place we visited and a 4x3 photo of our ship.

Misadventures on Fløyen
I'm jumping back to Bergen now for one final page from that port. I skipped over it when I made the rest of my Bergen pages as it was very easy to pick the photos for those, but somewhat harder to choose which ones I wanted to print for this one. It's a double with ten photos from the walk that we did on the trails of Mount Fløyen, one of the seven hills that surround the city.
Sadly, it was a very wet and windy walk (the weather forecaster lied to us) so my photos are quite dull and grey. I decided to contrast them with plenty of colour and pattern in my papers, using multiple 2" strips to fill my background. In some ways this is quite similar to the last page I shared from Eidfjord, but they will be at opposite ends of the album, and I like to repeat things for a sense of cohesion.
I almost always hand-write my journalling, but on this occasion I just had too much that I wanted to write with the story of the walk and the names of the lakes and mountains in the photos so I printed it from the computer instead.
I split my journalling into four pieces and decided to add embellishment to the blocks on each side. Every time that I've flipped through the die-cuts and stickers from Pinkfresh Studio while making other pages, there have been certain pieces that I've mentally reserved as suiting this one better, so I used quite a few in the end, aiming to match up the shapes, colours and textures in each group.

Rain Stops Play
Another cruise page today - Our day in Eidfjord was blighted by rain so we just took a quick walk around the village, jettisoning our original plan for a much longer walk. This means I am summing up the visit in just one double page.
I'm also linking up with UKScrappers for the first time in a long time as I picked up 'P is for Pattern' in their long-running ABC Challenges; I used about twenty different patterned papers on this page.
Supplies
It's based on this month's sketch from Stick It Down, which has two rows of tags lined up across it. My tags are slightly smaller which led to me using 10 in each row, and I chose to use complete rows rather than rotating the title tag as in the sketch. More tags meant that I could place an extra 4" square photo on the right hand side and still have space for the tag-shaped photos in the rows.

Eidfjord
I'm moving on to Eidfjord in my cruise album now, our final port of call but not the last to be scrapbooked. The first page that I made for Eidfjord was my 'sub-title' for the day; I'm making one of these for each port to divide my album up, and I'm following the same design (with different papers) each time.
I've already posted the pages for Bergen and Stavanger if you want to compare and contrast them.

Bryggen
I have another page from Bergen for you today; this one is of Bryggen, the historic harbour area and a UNESCO World Heritage site. I have two photos of the old warehouses and I used this month's 'JumpStart' sketch from The ScrapRoom.
My photos were landscape rather then portrait so I considered rotating the whole sketch, but that didn't really work so I left the paper layers as they are and fiddled with their proportions to suit my photos.
I added more layers behind the photos, moved the title and journalling, and dropped the paper strips at the side so my page doesn't look an awful lot like the sketch any more, but hopefully you can see the same basic elements in them both.

That paper-pieced background is something that I did on my Leaving Dover page so I'm glad that I have been able to repeat it again here. In fact, the globe paper here is the piece that I gutted from the middle of that page.

Love this View
We've been to Bergen a couple of times before, so we had a clear plan for what we wanted to do in our time there. We caught the funicular up Mt Fløyen, one of seven mountains surrounding the city, in order to explore some of the hiking trails there.
This page has a photo from the viewing platform near the top station of the funicular, which I printed at 6x8. I wanted a page design that was substantially different from my title page for Bergen (which also has a 6x8 photo) so I chose to scraplift my Málaga page from last year.
It ended up being an incredibly close scraplift as I repeated the chipboard clouds and used a floral scrap from the old page on the new one too. The main differences were to nudge the photo to the right a bit, and to use a simple banner sticker as my title.

Quietly Quaint
I'm in Stavanger (Norway) for the fourth post in a row; this time it's a page for the old town, a pretty area of white wooden houses which have been preserved as part of the city's heritage.
My page is a scraplift of one by Jen Schow which was Scraplift Challenge #19, posed by the Scrap Squad on Facebook a few weeks back.
I've taken Jen's alternating paper strips and pale background, but swapped her four photos down to three, with one running across both paper strips. Changing the photos also led to me moving the title and journalling compared to the original, and I placed that title on a circle of paper which was partly inspired by Jen's large floral cluster in a similar place.
I have one more page to make for Stavanger, but I missed one of the photos off my last order so that will have to wait a while. I'll be moving over to Bergen for my next post.
Supplies
Paper - Pinkfresh Studio Everyday Musings, Pinkfresh Studio Let Your Heart Decide, Echo Park Summer Dreams, American Crafts/Shimelle Glitter Girl

Stavanger
Third page from Stavanger, and I've gone back to the start of our visit, our arrival in the port, for a 'sub-title' page. I normally make one of these for each port on a cruise to split up the album into 'chapters' and mark the transition from one day/location to the next.
My page design comes directly from Shimelle Laine's A Most Magical Scrapbook class, and is based on a sketch for two 4x6 photos. I've used a 6x8 instead and added a 3x4 photo in some of the open space at the bottom of the page.
I've printed similar photos for all the other ports too, and intend to repeat the same layout with different papers for each one.
There's no journalling yet on this page, and I'm not sure whether I want to add any. I'll make a final decision on that later in the album-making process.

Broken Column
I'm making random pages for my cruise album at the moment, and this page from Stavanger features an art installation by Antony Gormley called Broken Column. This consists of 23 life-sized statues spread out across the city, with each one placed so that its feet are at the same height as the previous one's head, forming an imaginary column of stacked figures.
We saw five of the figures which made the choice of photos quite easy, and I worked with literal broken columns of patterned paper on my page with my five photos and a journalling block.
